Those are great pictures, Mike! I would love to go there. The girls, especially the one with the facial piercings look like some of my sons' friends!

How eerie that someone had the foresight to carve a stone effigy of Mike in his Winter Beard way back when!
I can vouch for Scotland's beauty, it is clean and green there. The food, however...well at least they had a McDonald's or two~ and also the best Fish and Chips ever.
Hope to travel there again. Love....Jill

Jill......Please don't give up on the excellent food of Scotland....Be more non- American and you'll see it in a different light..I too was skeptical and now I love it! That goes for ALL food in EVERY country....(Everywhere I went, the "Clown" and the "Colonel" were there...even India.) Thanks for posting the pics Barb....It is truly my second home.......

Haahahahahaha Scot, you're to much man...you saw me huh? That poor Mike, living that rough life with all them women. I guess I'm going to have to help him paint em and since he only has two arms, take one off his hands, that's all I can do amigo to help you out. You know I'm there for you. I don't know about the food, but one of these days I will have to check it out. Maybe I'll have one of them Lassies prepare some for me?? Or I'll make some Scotland Tacos...yeah that's the ticket

Mike, thanks for the pics! And that's the most handsome gargoyle I av ever seen! Oh, I meant the the last pic! Doesn't your wife get jealous with all those gorgeous girls you hang out with!! (can't wait for some pics from my uncle, my Mom's brother who recently visited Scotland in Sept. to visit our relatives and heritage there, in Edinburgh.) It is a beautiful country, and my dad's brother was over there during World War II. I love the music and folklore from the area.

Yup, I got to do that at the Military Tattoo in Edinburra (Fife accent) last year. The neat thing is, all the folks crossed their arms across their chests and clasped each other's hands while they sang it. I even felt Scottish for a minute! Cisco, a Scottish taco probably has sweet corn in it...
The bread is heavy, the coffee is strong, and the beer will knock you for a loop. Americans are wusses. love....Jill
