I was hoping that somehow the dates may change. I will be in Baltimore with my wife, kids, and inlaws. I hate I will miss this one. Will there be 1:30am snowmobile rides? That I think I will miss the most. There is nothing more "REFRESHING" than a snowmobile ride at 90MPH when it is 10 below!!!

I too am REALLY looking forward to another Meet in Mazeppa...maybe I can drive down with the gas guzzlin' HOT ROD and entertain the local constable....lets see 6 miles to the gallon times...how many miles?
Jeff, I am looking forward to seeing you again and hopefully we can sling some paint together again.
And Cisco....I promise I'll have some music for us this time, not that I didn't appreciate Mr. Clarks truck radio! Hopefully I'll have about 10 gigs loaded onto the iPod....we can just let it play straight through the whole event.
I'm up for helping any way I can Mike...just let me know what I can do.
And we could run some snowmobiles and see how long they can survive the July heat...could be interesting!

You guys are alright (Jeff and Dale)! I have something for both of you too. But I might not be able to wait till July, so look out! It'll be a pleasure to knock out another wall with guys and who else wants to join in. Maybe we can get silent Mike Clark close by in case we can't heard the music

You mean Sarge is coming! Who will ever forget the fun at Ore's Bar with our first experiments with a live webcam? I know Sarge won't!!!
This meet still has the title of "the most fun meet I ever attended." Some of that was due to the host, attendees, the people of the town, the parade, a monster truck, live music and the great projects and seminars. Truth be told there was a magic to this meet that can never be put into words.

Steve, and who ever else reads this...I say it's the the famous ole Mike Meyer, when I met this guy at Jackie Vaughn's place here in CA I knew he was a true down to earth guy, and a great sign painter. I think that's why his meets are such a success, lots to see and do. I'm not a cold weather person but he got me to fly out there and see Mazeppa below zero degrees. And you know what, I had a blast there! Met more people, then re-met and got to know the Scotland Sign Gangsters when the picked me up in Chicago to Lincoln and back. From there, it's been a great ride. Like I say I'm lookin forward to get out there this July. See you and the rest of the fellows and Lassies soon, be cool Mikey!!

Can' wait to see the second home again, by the way did anyone find a piece of my liver in the shop anywhere, I think I left it last time somewhere between the Guinness barrel and WD's. Also lost half a lung from laughing so hard. If any of the above is found please refrigerate and surround in cold Guinness and I'll pick it up in July.
Mike you put on a proper party so see you all on de dance floor,

Just found another shot of the original meet circa 1808.
In the front row you can see our honorable Mayor, Capt. Sign, Sqt. Meyers and, off to the side is Private Fair. You can't see Stewart 'cuz he's passed out on the top step...
The folks in the back have various sign tools that date back before French Masters and 1 Shot. Notice, too, the variety of mahl stick choices at that time.
I can't tell who it is, but someone is also holding a hockey stick...
