I hope this doesn't turn into a big debate/argument, but:
What is Oracal 751 series? Is it cast, or extruded? Any experience with said product?

I can't find anywhere where it says cast or extruded. But it is called "Premium Cal" so maybe it is calendared? Oracal did send me a free sample roll, and I really liked it. Their email addy is sales@oracal.com and their phone # is 888-672-2251
Love....Jill

Yep, I agree with Jill's assessment. It is the first sort of hybrid I've heard of, but would I would have to call it calendared. I thought it was 851 that I got a free roll of. Much thinner & nicer then 651 whatever it was.

I have used 751 on several jobs, with no failures. I actually thought Oracal had discontinued the 751 line in favor of the 851 series, which is a great vinyl. The 651 series is minimum 6 years now also.

I got a free sample of that too, Scott. I especially like how Oracal whites have a blue backer paper. I was also given a small sample roll of the 383 Ultraleaf Cast vynull & it worked real well. It pays to go to trade shows! Love....Jill

Jon, I learned how to spell vinyl the right way from Mike Meyer. We don't need no steenkin' vynull! About OP, well, he's a lost cause as far as spelling. Ask him to spell Pierre sometime. Love....Jill

i've used some OraCal on and off over the years and always wondered why no one else had the colored liner paper. it makes weeding white vinyl easier to see for my weeding crew.
