Long time no post, but I am in need of some advice about reconfiguring my cutter.

I previously purchased it from yours truly, Dave Grundy (I lost your number Dave) approx 5 yrs ago. I just plugged it in an everthing was fine.
Used it for about a year. Cut directly from Corel 9 using Windows 98. I put it in storage to take on a management position. That died and now I'm making signs on my own again.

This is where the problem starts.
I have a new puter running Windows XP. I cant cut from Corel. I loaded an older version(5) of Signlab. I'v got the material and blank sizs set appropriately. Am able to cut, but it stops at approx 20" of material feed, hesitates and then moves back to the beginning, moves over to the right then continues to cut to the 20" mark again, and so on. This continues until machine has cut completely from left to right. I'm not sure if its an operating system issue, software compatability issue or if mabye one of the kids played with the machine and deleted something.(I read something in the manual about cutting strings ?)
This is great if I had an 18" long file to cut,
but I have 3 bigger jobs sitting here and cant cut them.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks
