Gotta customer whos designer is sendin me MAC files. She has sent me a flurry of .ai to try and they didn't work. I requested .jpeg for viewing and she sent them. They didn't work. Not alot of MAC users in ALBERTA.
What format does she have to save them in for my successful importing??? I would think living in Alberta, SHE would know how because everyone she deals with is on PC.
I don't know because I deal with MACs .01% of the time....this being that .01%

Corey, Send them along and I think I can get you back on track with them, unless she is too far forward with Adobe CS products.

That is probably the answer. I have Illustrator 8 on my PC and Illustrator 9 on my Mac. I go back and forth all the time with no problems. I just save the Mac AI file as AI version 8, and make sure .ai foles the file name. Of course Mac's don't need that silly extension to read the file.
If you can't bring it in it must be saved in a higher version than yours.
