Daniel, I just ran a search on eBay for CorelDraw & noticed several listings for the full version of CorelDraw 12 Graphics Suite with "buy it now" prices between $70 & $90. Seems like a good deal to me for what you're looking for. Try this link, eBay - CorelDraw

Daniel, I have Select edition version 7 (7.46 or something). This version has Draw, Trace & Photopaint only. It comes with a pretty small instruction book, and NO catalogue book of fonts or clip art.
It does work OK, but as said above by Mike & Chris, get a more recent version- the cost & extra features are worth the difference.
Maybe the only reason you'd buy that version is to get a cheap start, so you can buy an upgrade of version 12 more cheaply, instead of the full version?

Here's a Version 9 for $50 (no manuals). Version 9 is so good I haven't bothered to upgrade my main computer to the newer version 11 that I also own.
The help menus in Corel and abundance of online forums like this one make the manuals practically obsolete for learning to use the program. Where you'll miss the books the most is looking up clipart and fonts.

I gotta make a comment here - isn't it strange that you got this far down the road of deciding to purchase equipment without anyone informing you of the need for a VECTOR graphics program? Man, that's where ALL the power is, and nobody mentioned that little fact.
Usually they go all crazy trying to sell you some exorbitantly priced do-it-all, super-easy, make-a-million wonder. But I got another hot flash for you Daniel - NONE OF IT IS EASY. It's hard crap to wrap your mind around in the beginning. Nodes and beziers, WTF? Be prepared for some head scratching, but stick with it, because it definitely gets easier with practice, and till you master it, you are handicapped.
Corel is a fine product - as good as any of them, not any harder, and a heck of a lot cheaper. A live tutor is the best way to learn it. Next best is an online assistant, and I for one will help whenever possible.

you can get coreldraw straight from corel's web site. We have version 11 and it is awesome (upgraded from ver. 6) we also run Sign Tools 3 (an add-on program to corel) this was hard to get working but definately paid off in the end.
