My hard drive bit the dust the other week, and as I rebuild my digital life, I notice a few key gerber fonts are missing like Helvetica Bold and regular, among others. These were not fonts I bought separately, but were in the software when I bought it. A freind told me they are likely found on my Omega disc but for whatever reason, are not active in my system. Any truth to that? And should I have to pay Gerber again for fonts that I essentially already bought? I mean, do they actually remove some fonts in later versions? I'm running on build 152 starting from GA version 3.5 or something like that.

You have to convert the font through the Gerber Font Converter. Click on Gerber program through the start menu> click on Omega> click on font converter, select your font, click "convert" If it is on that list, it is not yet converted to a usable font. Once converted, it is immediatly usable. Hope this helps.
