Okay, this is more than hope now....it's destiny.
It's almost time for game 4 of the World Series. Imagine being a network TV executive trying to get ratings against the game tonight...rough job.
The Red Sox have led every inning since game 4 of the ALCS against the Yankees...a record.
If the Sox win Game 4, it will be 8 consecutive wins, a record that can only be matched, never broken, but it may be another 86 years before it happens again...if ever.
There's even a lunar eclipse due to happen during the game tonight. Talk about a LINE UP!
Break out the brooms, it's time for a SA-WEEP! GO SOX! WAHOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Rapid

I'm no huge ball fan, but I was feeling this series & although I saw the game on in the 4th inning at another shop I stopped at, I decided to tune in on my little shop TV upstairs & see how things were going... I literally tuned in for the last pitch & saw the exuberance of victory.

I'll trade not winning for another 86 years for how it feels to have won this thing now.
Someone said that when the Red Sox won the World Series, life in New England would end as we know it. That's not exactly true, but it might be too soon to tell.
When the Sox were down 0 and 3 against the Yanks last week, a Sox fan said 'God is sitting in a bar in Southie drinking a Guinness and chuckling like he knows a secret.' Last night proved he was right.

Congratulations Red Sox and all you Red Sox fans.
Although I'm a life long Yankees fan I have to admit, after you got past the pinstripers I was routing for ya! It's been a long time coming and they deserve it.
At least now we won't have to hear any more about "the curse".
Tell that to Gump. He'll have to live to be 100 years old.
Ya know, there's all kinds of statistics the press is going over, but IMHO, these guys aren't the typical overpaid primadonnas....they're self proclaimed "idiots" who just love the game and play well as a team.
