O.K. I've been battling this long enough..
I have imported a file from brands of world..
And I have figured out how to get a nice cut path...
Only problem...
I cannot seem to seperate the image..
I know it can be done, but this thing is wanting to cut the entire logo...
The normal "Ungroup" command is of no use, unless I nee to do something else first..
and I cannot figure out what that something else is...
If anyone can help me one this, please do..
And call me COLLECT !

You may try to use the "release compound" feature.

Import to LXI and go 4 it !

Leonard...I got your telephone message a few minutes ago and was going to call you back.

BUT it looks like you have it figured out.

I don't think I would have been a whole lot of help since I use CorelDraw, but the other day when I imported that logo the very first thing I did was ungroup and get rid of the square box!!!! LOL.

I hope everything works out for you now.

After going through what I see described here. I always do a select all and go to outline (no fill) mode in either Vinyl Express or Illustrator. Shows all that is there.
