No this isn't a video of an artist "gone wild" and shucking all his clothes off.....my program "Adobe Illustrator" has.

In my info tab....the height and width measurements have suddenly changed from inches to points. I have gone in to my preferences, and everything is set to inches in there...

What happened? How can I fix it?

was it suddenly when someone else sent you a file?
If so, try to copy & paste it into your own new file. I get a lot of files from european windsurfers who sail here & they always have their files set up in metric units. I used to be confounded with the same issue, so I suspect that may be the case. If it's happening on all your own new files... well then I dunno [I Don t Know]

Todd,
Take a look at the document set up instead of your prefs.
Happens all the time with files brought in from agencies.

My IL program does that also...If your pref says inches but showing points you have to change you pref to points then do it again changing them bact to inches...Its weird but it works... I thought I was the only one that happens to.You have to change the the setting back and forth in pref then they seem to correct themself.
Good Luck

Bill, that was it! My doc prefs somehow changed...weird, but it was from my own file...I didn't get it from another party. Thanks for the good info. I couldn't find anything on the Illustrator forum site.

Have a good one.
