so having just officially been diagnosed with ADD myself...i figured i could tell this joke. how many ADD kids does it take to screw in a light bulb??? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . wanna ride bikes?

People laugh when I tell them I am on Ritalin. They think its a joke. I laugh but Ritalin literally saved my life.

Um, ditto's to all the statements.
I totally concur.
But I resent the implication that ANYONE might be ADD. My key board is Lysdexic. But I take no medication for either. It takes me a really long time to post because I have to go over and over it, re-reading and repairing every word, so I hopefully will appear to be lucid.
I think ADD is a state of mind brought on by not paying attention.
I think ADD was created to explain why some genius-type people get bored so easy.
It takes a lot of concentration to focus, and this can be boring to for brilliant people, lol.
But then, you know about the blonde who stood for hours looking at the orange juice can because it said concentrate.....
Also, Some people just find every little thing funny and can not maintain a serious vision due to the hilarities of life.
BTW: How many cockroaches does it take to change a light bulb??
You can't count 'em cause when you turn the light on they all scatter . . .

yes they do have things to take for it! i had to laugh when i read the little blurb that comes with the prescription....may cause a false sense of well being....well yeeeaaah! isn't that what drugs are all about?! lol...never take life too seriously...humor is key.

three ladies met for coffee in one of their houses and started discussing memory problems.One lady said she stood in front of her open fridge door wondering if she was there to get something or had she just put something in the fridge.The next lady said she was standing at the top of the stairs wondering if she had gone up to get something or had just taken something up.They both expressed their concern on these issues when the third lady said,"I'm sure glad I dont have that problem,knock on wood" as she tapped her knuckles on the table,------"oh there is someone at the door"

that's funny, but i do have ADD, my son was diagnosed several years ago, so i eventually was "checked up from the neck up". It's the only way i can get med's ! It seems to fit the sign trade, short term creativity & boo-koo idea's, just shy of crashing & splashing. it can be a good thing. My doctor said don't feel embarrased u have to take meds ( i had to tell the medical squadron in my air reserve wing ), 1 out of 5 people SHOULD be on some kind of medication !
besides i reassure good ol' customers i not only have ADD but a Phd in the sign trade- post hole digger !

Hey.. new concept just popped into my head..
I bet that every time we lose something it actually falls into an intradimensional hole (I just made that word up) so that someone else, in some other location, finds it thinking they just found the one *they* lost. Eh??
That's my theory and I'm stickin to it!
