Hi Guys, just wanted to share something I think is pretty cool. I've been working with muscle Machines, (Like Hot Wheels) I've done a bunch of stuff with West Coast Choppers I did the artwork for the packageing as well as some of the actual cars and bikes, well We are getting our own Line of killer Paint cars! here is the first one that will be out sometime in Nov. check it out www.1stopdiecast.com pretty cool huh? just click on the Merc and see a better view of it, then go back to the first page and scroll down to see some of the west coast stuff.

Mike.. Watched the Jack Osborne SUV show... Loved the skulls... Loved all the work actually. Question, is there an unedited version of that showing more of the detail of your work and process ? I sure would be interested..

Thanks guys! I thought it was pretty cool too! hahaha isn't it funny, you never know where your work will take you! I'm looking forward to the whole line to come out! we're going to be doing the first series on classic cars and sedan deliveries then the second series will be different colors and different cars. Mike, You could be the next George Barris, car customizer to the stars...You need an agent?

My son will be getting one for Christmas, thanks for the shopping tip. Why pupils/dots in the headlights? IMO those two little dots shift some of the mean to being goofy. Now I picture a cartoon voice with it.
I've seen some of the WCC packaging and paraphanalia (sp?) ... wasn't hard to guess where the distinctive fire came from.

The headlights are clear plastic, with a tab on the back, which fits in a hole on the body. That creates the dark spot in the headlight. It doesn't look as bad on the actual car as it does in that particular pic.

the cars are produced through Muscle Machines ( funline) I took an original and painted it like I would do a normal job. I was surprized at how easy it was to paint the licks so small and retain the look of the normal sized jobs. the car then goes to china where they do their magic. Mike
