Worked with a guy last named Bright. He was a Startwars fan and had his name legally changed to Starbuck Bright.
When my wife was pregnant for my 2nd son, his older brother was a huge fan of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He wanted to name his brother after one of the turtles. My brother is named Michael, and Angelo is the name of my grandfather and a uncle and cousin. So that was out. There is a Raphael in my wife's family, som we eliminated that. And I'd be damned before I had a sone named Donatello. So we name the boy Leonardo.

Our next door neighbor is Gary Boldt. He has 5 daughters and we always tease him it's a good thing he didn't have a boy because we would have nicknamed him Rusty.

Had a customer call and order a big red S logo like superman. He came in to pay and I was leaning over the counter writing up the paper work. I asked him what his first name was. "Clark" he said. "last name?" I asked. "Kent". I looked up and said "your parents had a sense of humor, didn't they.?"
My mom's first huband's last name was Demyan. Her name is Carleen Olive. Her initials...COD.
My brother, Bruce Uhley, is a big Michigan State fan. He adopted a baby named Shane. They changed his name to Mathrew Shane....his initials MSU.
