Hola Amigos! Hi everyone out there, Ok here's what this question is about...tomorrow Tuesday I will be getting an interview with the Newspaper, part of my article will be about Lincoln, IL and what we all did over there in four days. What I want to do is mention of having a International Meet here in Fresno, CA "maybe next year around this time" or when it gets a little cooler. I should also mention nothing is carved in stone for the date. If not in late Sept, maybe mid spring or so? I would like to know who would want to join in? Either as Mural Project Leaders or as assistants in painting up this town of about a half a million, the downtown area is in need of a major make over. I saw what other cities like Mike Myer, Jay Allen, Noel Weber, Dave Butler, Jill Welch, Bill Dias, have done, I know there is many more. I'm just naming the few off the tip of my mind. I know it's a major project to tackle, but I already know I'm not going to try and pull this baby by myself. I heard enough horror stories of the work and stress involved, but with all them stories I think with the right help it can be less stressful and smoother, but I know there is always the unexpected that will bite you is the a$$ at the wrong moment. With all that in mind, who's interested?

...Aren't there already a couple of "Internationals" already planned for next year (around this time) ?
...Go ahead and have an "international" anyway. By late summer "05 who knows how many more "internationals'' will be happening ...all probably on the same weekend too !

Hey Cisco! If Adam and I can get away we will also be there with you. If you plan for Sept though it may be tougher for us to make it than the spring. Just let us know and we will put you in our schedule. Of course we would like to assist in the painting even though we are still in training. Good Luck with the interview!

Hey Cisco, I would take a shot at this deal, maybe even bring the harp. My only concern man, is..... I am hating on the heat and it would have to be a mellow cool time for my old aching a$$ to git a move on. You remember that humidity in Linclon,? I used to live in the same town as Dave Paar. Make it a cool time my friend.

Alright, Thanks everyone whos replied to help out, You're all awesome!! Well I just got back from the interview, I didn't have any mural or big projects going on at the moment, so I had them meet me at one of my jobs that I had to do some touch ups on. It was this scoreboard
I guess the article comes out the 16th or so. We'll have to wait and see what happens. I'll keep you updated... Good to hear from many of you willing to jump in and get a project going, I know it does get hot here in Sept, so after I find out more info maybe early-mid Oct or mid Spring 2006 would be better, it's still in the air. The city doesn't even know about it yet, but they will when the paper comes out, then hopefully they will see what all of us can do with some paint and a brush!! (we need a graemlin with a brush)
Oh I have question...some one inform me the definition of a "international meet" maybe I worded it wrong or did I?
