7 inch thick box would not be very good for internal lit. The bulbs will be hot spots.
But its around $400- $600 bux in a kit complete with plastic, ballast, lights and all. Closer to 12 inches think though.
If you wish call me tormorrow and i'll get u a firm price
Curt

A couple of years ago a customer priced one of those with me, he ended up buying it at Sam's Wholesale for less than I could buy the kit for

sams wont do here, its an existing lighted sign on top, with this 3'x7' additional box under it. this one has 3 lines of copy and they want to have 4.....they know what the last one cost em. and the 7" is the alum part of the box, this one has bubble pan faces....and that makes it almost 12" to the face. i need to pull the old one out and put in the 4'x 7' in its place. i think the sams thing is 8ft.....

If Sam's won't due, then you can custom cut a piece of Lexan, and rivet or glue Wagner Zip strips to the face. A fairly teadious, but simple process. Then, they have to buy Wagner Zip-Change letters. Box of 300 is about $400. A bit pricey, but well worth the cost. Not prone to blow out in the wind. Total price for a pair of faces could break $1000 easily.
To be honest, the price difference from the Sam's thing usually steers them to Sam's every time. Quality usually looses to price in this case. Hope this helps, Joe.

no....this is a sign of 2 parts, and they are set inside 4x4 alum post. the top sign is the main copy sign. this is only a reader board 4x7 with 4 lines to place the removable letters in. by increasing this one to 4 foot tall, it only leaves maybe 5-6 inches between it and the ground.

You know I was reading this post, because I just got a call for a s/f light box sign. size around 32"x 40" When I read Sam's Club, I live real close to Costco, they seem to sell pretty close to the same things. But no dice, so I went to Sam's arcoss town, no one there knew anything about a light box. Is it a special order? and do they come in different sizes?
