When I lived in Montreal I enjoyed sampling what was an entirely different selection of beer than I had been used to in Ontario...many of them French or Belgian..."Biere de Garde de St Leonard", par example. Or "Mort Subite" (not recommended for the feint of heart).
Eventually, I discovered that no beer was or is more satisfying than a cold Belle Guelle on a hot summer afternoon, enjoyed on a terrace somewhere along Rue St. Denis...ahhh...Je me souviens...
Nowadays, however, I rarely order anything other than Guinness.

Coors Light (Canadian version) and Dos Equis. I also like Red Stripe.

Guinness is my favorite, but I'll get Aass Bock when I can find it. The darker, the better and I usually let it warm up (a bit).

Whiskey Sour is my favourite accompaniment to a really good cigar. Only trouble is that you have to eat a whole package of "Tums" afterwards.

BECK'S, Heineken, Guinness, etc. Anything with a little color, and body is good. I agree with you Amy, the "Hammerhead Red" at Hops, is great! Pretty much anything in a green bottle works for me. I like trying different beers. I prefer the heavier, darker ones. I get a headache just saying Budweiser. Being sign people, I thought we're ALL supposed to be drunks?? I hear that, everytime a break out a brush, and paint something. That old legend of the guy who couldn't paint a lick, til he had a bottle in him, comes up. I still want to meet this amazing character. To those who can't sample the "Devil's Brew", more power to ya! There's nothing wrong with NOT drinking! Have fun, but be safe.

dark naturale beer, no chemicals, as I love the foreign beers from outside the US, (the darker the better, bold and beautiful).
....root beer, vanilla phosphates, anything vanilla. ....as for cigars, hmmmm.. chocolate cigars are yummy with kalhua and cream or Baileys cream, or dry wines with cheese and fruit! (it's all sinful, but, oh well).

Mmmmm, A pint of Guiness or a Smiths oatmeal stout, micro brew unfiltered IPA, a Barley wine when I can find one. Home brew honey Mead ( not really a beer, but good)
Any of the above with a Hoyo de Montery Excalibre maduro or an Ashton Vintage Cabinet selection cigar. (Good people and bug repellent.)
A good 20yr old or better single malt scotch or a single barrel bourbon is on the list too.
Trying to find the above, living as close to Utah as I do, to say the least a challenge.

I've heard that the first beer tastes best ... IMO it's the first 10 cold degrees of every beer that tastes best ... doesn't really matter what kind. ----------------------------------------
