Some interesting answers. My only comment is: why not live every day like it is your last? Maybe we would be a lot happier.
I don't always agree with Joey, but he may be on the right track on this one. We seem to always be waiting for "tomorrow" to do something that is right and that could be done today.
My focus is what is going to happen after that last 24 hours. To me, that's the good part.

Thank you Ray Chapman for agreeing with me, lets forget death for a moment and dwell upon life. I see older persons who say things like, I can't leave here I'm too old to move and others on a different scenario saying its just a cheap job, it doesn't have to be perfect. Well my reputation takes on a different perspective as I always try to do it perfectly whatever the price and on the other hand I've experimented in all aspects of my life. A few years ago, my sister and I went to Maui for a vacation where I dove off a cliff into a swimming hole in which case some Hawaiians told me they couldn't believe their eyes, an Anglo. My sister would'nt talk to me the whole day after she said I was trying to kill myself, who me, gimme a break. I truly believe that life is all we have, so why not go for the gusto and thats one of the reasons I have to leave this place in one piece. I been a snapper all my life and just because of the computer age, some think that thats a thing of the past, well it ain't. I miss the glitz of NYC, the warm waters of the Keys and Fall in New England and hopefully will get to stripe all over again in those places plus a whole bunch more.

Raymond, I'm definately in agreement with you ... especially your last sentance.
Maybe "Live today...for your eternity" works here. I'd like to live every day, including the last 24 hours making the best of the senses God gave us for our enjoyment...in a way that is pleasing to him and his goals.
I'm personally glad that I don't think that "when it's over....that's it"....now that would be a futile, depressing thought.
I too, am thinking Joey is on to something....

1) I'd pull lots of pranks on kids that aren't my pals...lol. Like, putting whip cream in a can into their hair, or throwing water balloons into their lockers during school...lol. 2) Go to the Rocky Mountains, and go biking till I sweat all of the liquid out of my body. 3) I'd go UAT (University of Advancing Technology), and check out what the people at that college learn about, not what is on the website. 4) Then, I'd go to Mount Everest to go sky diving. Hopefully not getting killed in the process. 5) Last but not least, I'd go see my sister who i don't get to see much, seeming how she's in college, and say goodbye. 6) There is no 6) =) *Gump*

I'd go home to be with my wife and three girls. Make sure that all things happen for a reason and that I love them dearly.
I would call Ryan and tell him to meet me at my house to pick up the keys to my shop and old house. He could move to Clinton or move them both to Rock Hill.(If he moved here he could show some folks around here how to paint!!)
I would have my friends finish the house that we are in the process of building so my family would have a place to live.
I would eat fried pork chops, mashed potatoes, corn, macaroni and cheese, homemade biscuits, and devils food cake for dessert.
After we ate, and our girls were in the bed, I would write them all letters for my wife to give them on special occasions like high school graduation, college graduation, their wedding day, and when there first child was born. Just to let them know that even though I may not be there in person, I am there, and how proud of them I am.
Jeesh, how this topic got sidelined into some kind of weird, kinky fanatasy....complete with voyeurs willing to pay.... I'll never know. But to each his own.
Donald...now that's an honoroble "what would I do..."

Uh oh...I see a man/woman war brewing. When my wife was pregnant...I told her all the time how good she looked ... and especially that she "didn't look fat" when she said she did.
Diplomacy in action....saves your skin and your sanity every time.
Julia Roberts? She doesn't do it for me but you go guy...it's your fantasy.
