AP News just reported the pasing of one of hollywood's true stars, Marlon Brando.
"He wasn't a contender....he was a winner."
My mom once waited on Brando while working at a restaraunt in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the late fifties, and when he discovered she spoke french, reponded by ordering in french only. She was absolutely mesmerized by him. One of her favorite memories.

I remember seeing him on one of these tv shows and he couldn't stand being bothered with cameras, sad how when you want to just mind your own business, people want to bother you from all directions. May he rest in peace...
