been reading this board for a few days now. a bit of introduction. i work on cars and trucks (i bleed ford) have been since i was little. im about to break into the kit car scean and begin to play with pinstryping. ive played with brush work in the past and loved it. von dutch has gotta be one of the coolest men who ever lived. i also will be begining a dream ive had for years now. a custom harley with the whole distressed paint look. rust runs, primer showing threw the paint look. the info i have found on this site is great and the members seem very nice. glad to be aboard

defanatly love. but allitle money. ive been building for 6 years now just for freinds mainly. and hell i figure people love what i do so why not make some cash to. i now have a partner to handle the busnisse end so i get to do what i love and be my own boss.

Welcome, and try & and look at somephotos of Rod Tickle's work car/ute-it was painted really nicely, fading to very realistic rust and nails at the back. He's a resident here. Best wishes!

Second, if you're going into this for the love, great. Just don't forget the money end. Nothing worse than under-charging. You'll be working like a dog and wondering why bother, start to forget that you love this stuff, be known as the "cheap guy" so no one will come to you for that awesome work you long to do and you'll be ****ing off those around you who can become your best ally.

i have this porblem alota times i get something done for somone and then there like well im short on cash you want my "_______" then i end up with another ride in the garage. crazy huh. im 25 and i own 4 trucks a van a station wagon a 95 vic a bronco and a 72 torino. and will soon have a mark VII thats gotta be love
