I was just asked a different kind of question. I have tried to look it up on some of the different website, but I have not been able to find the answer.
The question is this, is there a link between a persons intelligence and there favorite/prefered color?
I know that surrounding yourself with some colors helps the brain get motivated, or calms you down. But, is there some kind of link denoting a persons intelligence?
I am not sure myself. I don't believe there is a true link, but I am not sure.
Has anyone ever come across a reading regarding this link, or no?

You & me both Billy.
I have heard that in the 1950s, the walls of mental institutions were painted pink to soothe the patients.
Now about favorite colors and IQs...I dunno. Mine is 102 if I remember correctly. Maybe I belong among the basket weavers? They're coming to take me away haha!

Mine's blue. If it'll make me smarter, I can learn to love another color.

I prefer blue as well.
No I have not found anything concerning this yet. I have been looking at the different researches. Lots on how a color will set a mood, but nothing about a link between a favorite color and your iq.
I did not really think there was much of a link. Maybe a link between color and personality?
Who Knows? Anyone?

My favorite color is green, my IQ is high, finished high school early in my 16th year of being on this planet and after that have made not so smart of the desisions throughout my life. Next month I join a one on one class which directs me to doing not so perfect of work which will transform me into just another person. I can assure you that my statement is true as that my work will be medioca after I've learned not to be so crucial in determining how perfect my lines should be. I get headaches and can't seem to glide anymore.

The preferred color of most USA midwest persons is blue. So the question of IQ with a favorite color will be very difficult to answer.

Get me up earlier than I wish, I like red....most other times I'm happy w/silver.

Yes, somewhere, I read an article about corelation of IQ and color. As I remember, silver suggests a higher than average IQ and likes nice things.

But then, nothing trips my trigger faster than magenta/maroon w/gold, maybe a dash of vanilla.

Just for fun though, what's your least favorite color? Mine is; er...ah...shucks, don't have one....maybe yellow because of lack of coverage, but that's properties, not color, so that doesn't count, never mind.... [Wink]

Favorite: Orange. I've only met 1 other person who claims orange as his favorite color and he spells his name wrong. His official name (according to me) is "Karl with a K". Cause if you've called Carl with a C, you've called the wrong Carl. OMG, Sticky, I just had one of those flashbacks you mentioned in another post. [Wink]

Least Favorite: Yellow. Bill liked the yellow F-150 the dealer had, said it was a 'really nice yellow'. My stepson agreed with me that there is no such thing as a real nice yellow.

I LIKE SHINY THINGS! [Smile]

Kissy, my mom's fave color is orange. I realized that after looking at pictures of myself when I was very little - always wearing something orange! I also remember the old kitchen wallpaper at the house I grew up in - different shades of orange that complimented the orange upholstery at the dinner table - 70's style flashbacks. LOL

I'm kinda drawn to blues and greens and I'm a pretty smart guy (maybe a little hung up on myself too hehehe). I'm not big on yellow vehicles but I'm wearing a screaming yellow t-shirt right now - this color is kinda growing on me but I feel bad for anyone that has to look directly at me while I'm out in the sunlight. [Smile]
