We just returned from a weekend youth hockey excursion to the great state of Minnesota! On Friday we made a detour on our way to see & hear the awsome group "Switchback". If anyone recalls they are the guys who rocked the Museum at the Meyers joint last February! Oh ya, the Meyers were home and it was great to see them too. The guys from Switchback brought a couple of buddies in Joe Price and "Velcro Jones" to crank some blues. These guys are to tunes what our peers are to "Eyeball Candy!" I have been looking for some shop music like this for a long time. Those who were struck by these guys at the Winter Muster testify! Anyway we were fortunate to drop in on a night of tunes which was sponsored by some of the Mazeppa locals. The bands have come to suggest that they play at the sign shop because of the Magic that the place is made of. The shop has the Electricity that makes us go "Letterheads"! We all know what MM is and his town... it is a slice of Old America and the world (he attracts a lot of friends from our places of ancestry). I think that these musical artists can feel the vibes that were cast there in '99. There is a guarantee that we will have another chance to see it again, of course in another chapter next year for the 2005! The musicians will be there then also. In the short term we have an opportunity to make a splash and live and learn next month at the Lincoln Wall Dog Meet! This town wants us there based on the tradition started at Atlanta, Ill. by the Diazs and their awsome crew in the two previous years. believe me this part of the country is as friendly and hospitable as exists today. We have also found the Wall Doggin' folks to be as genuine as the history we will be reviving! The canvas is white and history is sure to be made, so join us at Lincoln. Andy & Laurie Goretski
