I hope you guys don't let all of the BS that's been going on in Letterville lately get you down.
You run a great service here and I have always admired you for your wisdom and sense of fair-play. With the exception of a few er...strange exceptions, I suspect this is a universaly held point of view.
Thanks for everything you do!
I, for one, appreciate it very much.
Sincerely,

I agree that Steve and Barb are two wonderful people...but can't agree that this board has been a pleasant place to pass the time lately. I'm sure as bad as it's been lately for us, it must be that times 100 for Steve and Barb. There've been a couple times in the past week that I've logged onto the bb, and actually got a headache after reading a couple posts. Something not right about that picture that needs to change in a hurry.
Hopefully it'll get better soon....it always has had bumps in the road, and has always gotten back on track after awhile.
I will say that this is the calmest election year on the bb that I can remember...speaking only of the political crap.

Hell....if it wasn't for all the back-patting; self-emulation; bitching about something or someone; and an illegal plug once in a while; and Steve and Barb trying to avoid further heart problems, etc......THERE'D BE NO BB!!!

Thank You. It's been very stressful around here the last week. Letterville is much more than just a business to Barb and I. For the last 8 years, it's been our whole life.
There have been times recently when we have questioned if Letterville is really doing what we dreamed it could. Is it still bringing potential Letterheads together? Are there more meets with lots of newbies? Are we managing the website properly? Is it time to look for new hosts?
It dosen't take a lot of dirt to spoil ones view out the window. Your comments are a reminder that the vast majority of Letterville users still believe in Letterville. It's wonderful to know we still have friends. Thanks again.

aha Roy, I've been looking for you- all those metric post holes were actually imperial sized ones, and they were tagged at the wrong end, so I had to pull every single one out and turn them over. Some were damaged in transit and so were too short, and although I put them aside to reuse later, now I can't find where I put them. We re-adjusted our tooling to accommodate the imperial sizes, and now need some more holes. I wonder if you would email me a few megabytes worth please. Sea mail is a bit too slow.
(PS thanks Steve & Barb)
PPS Roy, I just found some of the the shorter ones- they make good airholes for banners.

Hi Steve you wrote this statement and then locked the thread.
(I do no there are a handful of people that are not happy about me owning letterheads.com and letterhead.com. People talk and we've been hearing for years that a more prominent, skilled or published Letterhead should be given the domain. Used to hurt a bit, but I've learned to get over it.)
Well I have been surfing the web for close to ten years now and I find this web site is the best with whatever name it would have! Now I have never seen even one other site run by a more prominent or skilled publisher that is even close so until someone else gets real good you have no worries. You and barb are doing an incredible job and you should be proud.

I'd like to add my cheers to this dogpile! Running a forum like this has gotta be a bit like herding cats- it is more than a full time job. I visit some other boards (sign-related and non-related) on a regular basis, and the thing I've noticed is THE DYNAMICS ARE EXACTLY THE SAME ON ALL OF THEM. People are gonna be people. The trick is enforcing any rules of the club, and doing what you can to see than nobody goes to bed angry. Steve and Barb are excellent at this, and their obvious passion for the place is evident in what they do with it every day. Ya just cant keep an eye on all the cats all the time, and that does keep things interesting. Kinda like life.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Those are my words to Steve & Barb. I don't get on here very much and must have missed any bad stuff. I've gotten lots of help and encouragement from this board. About the only time I have been able to contribute back is when someone is looking for something in the advertisment / promotional field. I'm just a wanna be signmaker and I appreciate Steve & Barb allowing me to particpate. You are wanted and needed, so hang around and give us a place to hang out. If you are ever down Georgia way, just give a shout and we will show you some southern hospitality.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever even think of making signs. I love it!! We've been in business 10 years, and a resident of this board for 7years. With this board and the Letterhead meets, it has been a wonderful education, fun working vacations and we have met some very special people. Thank you so much Steve and Barb. We'll leave the light on for you!

hats off to you guys, have to say you're made of steel, Barb and Steve. I wonder how you have put up with all of this, as you definitely have the red carpet rolled out in heaven. You possess the inner beauty this world needs, and you've demonstrated the patience with this site, and each of us learn and receive, some don't appreciate until they are in your shoes. Then, they will not ever be able to be leaders such as you. Meeting Steve and Barb is an honor, so I hope you all do that soon! One way or another!

Well said EVERYONE...Patsee and I will support your opinions forever.
We understand this is "your site" and you and Barb have "absolute say so" I've never found anything you've done to be offensive or out of line.
Truthfully the only problem I've ever seen on this site are from jealous people that wish they had thought of it and are doing their best to run it which is the same as "ruin it" for those that want to share and make good friends.
I know how easy it would be for you to "pull their plug" and they should appreciate the fact that you don't.
Thanks for being here...We'll be here as long as you two are!

There are other sites where you can talk about signs, but none like Letterville. I would miss this place greatly if it wasn't here, so THANKS, Steve and Barb.
