I have been sitting here laughing since lunch time.I have a dog who is insane. He is only a year old,but huge! He is overly friendly, like Marmaduke of cartoon fame.My son comes home for lunch everyday from work, and after he eats ,he and the dog wrestle and play in the front yard.It just happened that the mailman came right as they were boxing. The maildude always whistles at the dog and yells."hi,buddy"to him. he is usually tied to a run on the side yard, he was loose!! he charged up the yard and jumped right into the truck and licked the mail guy's leg! Ben had to drag him out of the truck.ben was fuming at turner.hahahaa. as soon as the truck pulled away, turner tried to follow. He is 1/2 shar-pei and the other 1/2 german short-hair. crazy dog!ps. he coulda kept the bills. maybe i'll teach turner to shred them???fiddles

Faye, the UPS man brings treats for my brat, Rizzo. I'll come home and there's a package by the door and a biscuit sitting on top of the box, every time! He's deathly afraid of her because every time he stops here, she's in the window right next to the door snarling at him and putting a lot of pressure on the glass. She also got out of the house one day and chased him into his truck.
There's just something she doesnt like about that Brown truck and the uniform cause she goes nuts if I pull up next to a UPS truck in traffic and when I got stopped for speeding once she went off on the policeman. Got me out of that ticket though.

One day the UPS man rang the bell at the back door, and as I started to come out the side door all my dogs torpedoed out ahead of me, barrelling to the back yard. Once I got around the corner, I saw the poor UPS guy standing on top of my Isuzu Trooper. What a funny sight. (he may have crapped his pants tho)
Luckily we laughed it off once he was down, and petting the pups.

Faye, That Inbred Mutt of yours is nothing but a menace to society! This is one Krazy dog folks. Faye, Ben, and Barry are the only ones who can go near Turner without getting jumped on and licked/gnawed. Turner is also responsible for finding Faye's new house! Love...Jill Dana, good name choice. Maybe you can knit Bowie a sweater? With glitter yarn o'course!

Great looking dogs there, folks. Dog's are the best. We tried something new with our Miniature Longhair Dachshund, Heidi. We bought her a bark collar. It's a battery operated device that fits on the dog's collar and it weighs only 1 oz. When the dog barks, a microphone on the device picks up the sound and emits its own sound which is a real high pitched noise. Jane claims she can hear it, but she has mother's ears and hears everything. I, of course, have selective hearing and can't hear a thing.
Day 2 now and Heidi has figured out if she doesn't bark at the customers who come in, she won't have to put up with the noise from the bark collar. I can't believe it works that easily. We tried spray water and all sorts of things, but nothing worked. Sites on the internet said if you want a dog who doesn't bark don't get a Dachshund, but I love those little dogs, so I think we may have hit on something here.

I wanted to post a picture of Bill sleeping with Heidi on the couch too (same pose as Bruce) but Bill is the only one who knows how to post a picture around here and he won't do it for me!! He says he won't show me so I can't put embarrASSing pictures of him on here!! And EVERYONE who comes in can hear the high pitched tone that the dog collar puts out EXCEPT Bill! His hearing is shot from his early years as a drummer in a band.
