Since I am one of the newbies here I have several questions so as not to offend anyone.
I have seen several different posts by people who are working on projects that really interest me. Am I being out of line if I send a PM or e-mail offering my services?
I am new to the sign buisness, and have only been in it for a year now. Having owned a cell site construction company for the last 20 years. I am finding it nice to be able to spend more time at home but still get to go out and climb around a little on signs.
Since I was refered to this site by a friend I have in less than a week found alot of interesting people on here and have already started to see what a awsome site this is.
Please excuse all the stupid questions I am sure to be asking.

Mike, I think you'll find us very "newbie" friendly on this site. This trade is so vast and diverse, we are all still newbies ourselves at some things.

Generally it not newbies who cause problems on the board, It's us 'oldies' who can't resist stirring the pot.
This is a public forum and I feel anything related to projects should generally be shared on the board rather than through pm's, that way we all learn. Having said that there's lot's of pm-ing and dont be shy about pm's, if someone doesn't want a pm, they'll let you know.

IMs can be fun too! If you know how. Just don't mention religion or politics and you should be just fine. And if yer gonna post something that doesn't concern signs, mark it with an OT so those who don't like personal stuff don't have to be bothered. But I for one like to see what's going on with the whole person, not just their signs. Letterheads usually like to help each other. Any questions about Coroplast or mediocre hand-painted signs, ask away! Love...Jill ps Welcome to Letterville!

We might be able to address the stupid questions, but for the ones requiring a bit more finese, find Gary Volkmann who's somewhere in Brighton last I heard. Tell him Rick Sacks, and Walter Methner would like to hear from him.
