Hi Y'all. This is Silly Jilly's sister June. Some of you may remember me from the PJ Jam and Mazeppa. I have been in hiding since February, but Jill unearthed me this mornin' in the laundry basket where she keeps the socks that need a-sortin'. The ninny left her computer on so I am sneakin' and usin' her nickname. She is determined to have a meet NEXT August 19-20-21 2005 at our uncle John Pat's Camp in Lisbon PA, just off of exit 42 on I-80. It is called Shady Lane. She has to send Barb the particulars, but first we need to give this thing a good name. Some suggestions have been: Jillbilly Mountain Jam Hollar in the Holler Camp Artistic Camp Allegheny They are all nice. But not a one of them is screamin at us. She is kinda shy about using her name too. So any suggestions you creative folks would have would be greatly appreciated. Jill's brain ain't what it used to be! Thanks! JUNE

That Darn June! I gotta be careful postin' so much. As you all know, I have no life so I live on Letterville. But it's a nice place to be, and since I work outta the home it is always a siren song to pop in & check the BB. Plus what some of you don't know is that I am head-over-heels in love with a fellow Head who IMs me all day. IMs are a lot cheaper than international phone rates. Hence my ever-present presence. Now June is using my name! I'm gonna pluck her bald! Thanks for the suggestions. Barb is gonna post it on the Future meets page, with more info to follow as we have a whole year to plan the fun. Here are some pix to give you a feel for the area. in the woods near the banks of the mighty Allegheny lurks my sister June beside the port-o-potty. Love...Jill

I don't have a "real" suggestion for a name but since the "Dixie" meets are always great why not steal their idea and work on something like "Yankee Meet?
Whatever you call it Jill...and seeing as it is over a year away..and since I AM old (kinda)..I can only say that it sounds like it will be a great meet and I will be there, if I can!!!
Ya thinkin about servin Tater Tots???? LOL

Thanks for the suggestions, folks! Dusty, I loved the Signs in the Pines one, but it's the name of somebody's shop! (we discussed this in Chat last night, among other things!) I like Camp Coroplast too, but I don't want folks to get the impression that it's a vynull meet. I am the Coro Queen, but a painter first and foremost. June likes "Busty Hillbilly Brushes in the Bushes". Kissy & Checkers....it's "Yinz"...ahem! What about "Paintin' in the Poison Ivy"? Nahhhh.... Please keep 'em coming. Love...Jill

Jill, I'll leave the namin' up to you, but I gotta suggest the use of this image.
It seems appropriate for this type of meet. I used it on shirts for a family camping trip from several years ago.
Havin' fun,
