I was chatting to Neil Melliard the other month (brilliant UK striper) about the possibility of having similar jams to what you US-based guys do. he mentioned that there will be in the summer this year over here.

Does anyone know anything about that or have any other info on UK-based striping folks or get-togethers?

Not sure of any meets....but you do some awesome work.

I was just back home at the NEC last week,Sign UK, and it gets abit depressing when you see printer after printer after printer, seems like you've spent alot of years doing alot of great work! [Smile]

Brian, dont know of any UK meets ,but there is a meet in Hamburg Germany at the end of May You should have come here in 2000, ther were some big name stripers at the meet less than 50 mile away from you

If you need some kind of hand organising a meet let me know and I will help you all I can by using the influence of the boards & its mailing list. I would also like to attend of course.. [Smile]
On another note.. After sign UK I have been contacted by A few UK sign makers wanting to join me some weekend in the summer, up in Scotland were I am from. It’s going to happen and may well be a date on the calendar for a meet each year. who knows? having said that, the meet is mainly for vinyl app sign makers and the like..so may not appeal to you [Roll Eyes] I will see what the numbers are like first & get back to you..
Anyway.. Let me know if you plan anything and I will do my best to help. [Wink]
