My daughter buys horses in Canada and then brings them to the USA because they are so much cheaper after the exchange rate. I was just wondering what the price of the Roland VersaCam was in Canada.

Its hard to believe that there aren't any Canadians looking at buying the Versa Camm. So are there any canadians that are using or that are pricing other inkjet printers that can do exterior graphics for vehicle wraps?

At one time computers in Canada (Dells) were about 20% cheaper than in the US, (after calculating exchange rate); but the US dollar has weakened in the past year and this is no longer the case. US dollar is worth $1.31 today vs $1.64 a year ago.
If buying a major piece of equipment out of country make sure that warranty & service will be provided in your home country.

I was just hoping that if/when the exchange rate changes more into my favor, that I could buy one in Canada. I didn't think about the warranty being a possible problem.

Mike is right. Besides: most of the equipment sold in Canada is bought from US companies, in US$...plus someone has paid freight and brokerage to get it into this country. Unless a Canadian dealer decides to discount the living daylights out of the equipment, it would be highly unlikely you would gain on the exchange. There's also the matter of freight back into the US.
Your local dealer is there to support you. Support them by buying locally.

I live 1 hr. from the bridge into Canada so going there is no problem. We have bought horses any number of times in Canada and just go up, pick them up, cross the bridge into Mich., go to the state vet with their health papers where the vet checks them out, and them go home.
