That is such a lie. There is no RADIOACTIVE Uranium being used, It is DEPLETED Uranium. Completly different substance. Uranium reduces to lead after the radioactive compontes leave.
Depleted Uranium is super hard super dense material. Completely different mineral that emits ALPHA waves wich is stopped by one inch of air, or tissue paper.
LEAD is much more harmfull. Thats why the DEQ demanded it be removed from hunting shells. and it is being removed from buildings. Very bad stuff.

You are wrong Curtis. Depleted Uranium still has radiation & TRUTH is, depleted uranium has the unusual property that it becomes more hazardous with time - an effect that has to be taken into account for its long-term management as a waste. So yes, there is a tremendous concern with all the depleted uranium waste that is being generated with the weapons we choose to use.
