Have a f350 dually. Client wants to run a long checkerboard banner down the front wheel well and flip over to the rear wheel well. Looked at my roland vector artfiles couldn't find anything. I've seen those racing cd clipart, but for one time use a bit much.
Does someone know a trick with flexi or a website to get ideas?

Thanks

Matthew...If I understand you correctly, you want a "ribbon" flowing down the side of the truck with a checkerboard pattern?

In Corel I start by drawing a square then duplicate it and move it down and to the right by the same amount as it's height. Duplicate both and move them both down and to the left. Continue until you have as many vertical squares as you want.

Duplicate that vertical row of squares and move them right to meet at the correct point. reduplicate and the next row will move the same amount. Continue until you have as many horizontal squares as you want.

combine them all and then use the envelope tool to create the wavy effect of the ribbon.

It takes less time to do than typing how. [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Matthew...
I get em wholesale, ready to stick, from Auto Accessories Warehouse in Cincinnati. Can't find their 800# at the moment...but here is another #
513-588-3700.
They have a nice price-free catalog to show your customers. You have to be a sign shop/auto body shop to buy from em. I do all the time. I also buy roll striping from them.
Might be worth checking out. Good luck.
Love...JILL
