When I opened up my CorelDraw 7 program this morning, all my toolbars, buttons and icons were missing. I'm able to open my files and use hot keys, but when I click on the "view" tab, the program shuts down claiming that I have performed an "illegal operation". Am I up Sh*t's Creek without a paddle, or is there a way to get back in so I can get some work done? Woe is me.
Thank you all in advance. [Dunno]

Immediately after double clicking the icon to launch the program, hold down the F8 key. After a moment it should ask you if you want to overwrite the current workspace with the factory default workspace. That might fix your problem.

Corel is the most buggie, program I use.
Tonight, I did a fairly complex layout & was having problems, saved it to work on later, decided to import an element, opened it the layout & it was gone. Backup was gone as well

I love/hate Corel right now. It is alway doing something screwy.

I'm still in limbo.....
Bob...nothing happens when I press F8. Tried it about 20 times.........zip.
I've been lucky, I guess. Never had any major trouble with Corel 7........guess it's just my time.
Does anyone know any other way to access Corel default page?
Thanks for the responses. [Thanks]

Bob's on the right track, maybe phrase it a little differently.

Hold F8 as you launch the application to restore factory defaults. If that fails then you are indeed looking at a reinstall. 7 was stable as a rock, used it for years.

what version is your corel 7? go to help, open then about...it will tell you the version number.
i have used, and still do use corel 7.467...this IS THE MOST STABLE COREL OUT THERE!!! if you have a lesser version you need the upgrade. i also use corel 10 with the upgrade...it is very stable also.
