Hey, I just got an IM pop up from a resident. It's not the first time. And it didn't come in on AIM or Messenger. SO HOW THE HECK DO I GET IN ON THIS? Is there a function of this site I am not aware of? I feel bad that I can't respond to these pop up IMs.
Anybody know???

A HOW-TO FROM THE "INSTANT MENACE" *look over towards the top right of your screen in any area of Letterville. *you will see a list of things like "directory" "faq" "my profile" etc. "im" is the last one...you may have to scroll over. *click on "im" *a new screen pops up, listing all the folks logged on. *select one or more Heads by clicking the box next to their name...an arrow appears in this box. *scroll to the text box at the bottom of the page. *type whatever. *click the "IM NOW" tab. That's it! You will be sent back to wherever you were in Letterville. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT IM BOB BURNS...BILLY PICKETT...JURY NALKOVICH...MILES CULLIANE...etc. (and if ya don't want IM's, click "don't let anyone IM me" then click the "IM Now" button. Something to keep in mind is it isn't like AIM or ICQ in that it really isn't instant. When you get one check the time in the corner. I rarely see one within even hours of when it was sent. Usually see a good morning when I pop by after work in the evening.
