I know Ryan has a bike. Hes got pics of his great paint job on the portfolio page. Anyone else here own one? I bought one this past year after going bikeless for about 12 years. This is a 2000 Suzuki 1500 LC. Ive added a few things since I bought it. Right now its parked in my dads basement til this crappy weather goes away, and riding weather comes in. Cant wait!

I have a 2002 Honda Shadow Aero, 1100cc. Purchased new in spring of 02, thought for some reason I'd have time to ride! It's in my dad's garage now, no pictures to show. will post some soon. This bike was called a retro bike, very low and long, two into one exhaust, floorboards...I think I'm going to go ride now! If I can't feel my fingers for a few days it'll be alright, right?

It'd be hard to live without bikes for Ellen and me, we can't get enough ride time around here. My favorites are Indian's... OLD Indians, with our business we bought sold and traded many over the years... next bike will be built by my brothers and I... a streached tour bagger V-twin. The bikes on my website were all owned and restored by me along with a few more. Riding is a lifelong treasure we plan never missing out on.

You all have some bitchin sleds pictured here.... maybe we need to have a letterhead bike rally!! [Applause]

Up until three months ago I was riding a 2002 Suzuki 1200s bandit. Being in Florida I put 17,000 miles on it over the two years I had it.

Thats when my bike and I we're run over by a tractor trailer. The bike was totaled and my left leg crushed after being hit.

I think when I can walk again I'll likely buy another bike. Its in my blood.

2002 Harley Superglide. Been riding since I was 14...........wow that's 40 years.
Sold an 82 Honda Goldwing last year that I bought new. 79,000 miles and never had any trouble ( still looked new ).
I trailer for the longer trips now, so I don't need the big bike for now. Maybe later.

I'm probably the most insane of the group as I've done 2 certified Iron Butt Association rides (www.ironbutt.com) and many uncertified long distance rides. I ain't no POSER! Watch for the changes and try to keep up!

I've got an 83 V45 Magna I purchased new with over 92K on it, an 82 V45 Sabre I've put about 25K on (up to 48K now). I did my Butt Burner Gold (1500+ miles in 24 hrs) and my Saddle Sore 1000 on that small Sabre. And I've got an 85' V65 Sabre that I've only put about 2K on so far.

Yesterday I rode up to John Lennigs house in BC and we had a mini meet. I left his place around 12:30 AM to come home and it was pretty chilly as most thermometer signs said 32 & 31 degrees (F). Thats really fun [Frown] when fog is so thick you can't see 2 cars in front. Got home at 3 AM.

Enjoy the ride! [Smile]

I still have the very first vehicle I have owned, a 1985 Kawasaki GPZ. I bought it from the original owner in 87.

What a great little bike, we took it down to Michigan were a friend from high school was staying with his dad for the summer. My ass was sore from that trip. The coolest thing was he took us to Cedar Point in Ohio and i was in awe, first time seeing somebody cruzin with no skid lid.

The memories....can't wait to ride again.

Nice Paint Job Shep...Mine was an '85 Honda Aspencade. My first bike was a '36 Triumph T93, 549CC, one cylinder, hardtail, side shift lever with a coil spring front end with friction shocks like the old Schwinn bikes. Sure wish I still had that one.

My most recent (after a 20 year hiatus) was a Honda 750 Shadow Spirit. White. Nice cruiser. But after 1 year and only 300 miles I sold it. It's just no fun riding by yourself. My wife won't ride anymore (we had a bad accident 20 yrs ago) and none of my friends have bikes anymore, so....No bike!

No I don't have one.
My wife was very scared of motorcycles after, I attended a funeral for a good friend killed on one the first year we were married. After some heated discussions, I had sold 2 street bikes and still had my 4 stroke enduro bike. Our son was born in Dec 87, and we were at a July 4th barbeque at my folks house the next summer. I had the enduro stored there since I lived in a small apartment and took it riding in the morning. I had it almost leaning wall on the carport and damn if my son didn't find a way to climb up the leaning bike and was holding on to the handlebars going "bruuuum, bruuuum" My wife flipped out and made me promise to give up riding until the kid was old enough to take care of himself. I sold the bike, and I've been getting older aned fatter ever since.
The good news is that, yesterday I had to climb all over the kid's back about running a redlight when he could have easily stopped on the yellow. So time appears to be getting close.
And that, folks is why you see so many old fat men on motorcycles.

It must be getting close to spring...although I guess that depends on where you live. I think I have a while to wait yet. Here is a shot of my 96 RoadKing from a few years back when I had more hair.

Peri thats a beautiful old BSA you have there, typical old Brit bike right down to the oil leak [Big Grin] heres mine, a 94 Triumph Trident 750 only had it a couple of weeks, before that it was a succession of what you old farty [Wink] cruiser boys call "crotch rockets" [Roll Eyes] [Smile] I got sick of having an aching back and shoulders after a ten minute ride [Big Grin] .
