Barb and I have decided to take a much needed break from the stress of Letterville. We will be going to visit Hawaii for a month. We will be staying with Doug Allen but wish to be left alone for the month. How will letterville run with out your mayor? After giving it much thought I have decided to give total control of the web site to Ryan Young from Rock Hill SC. All complaints and suggestions should be addressed to him. I know all of you will respect my wishes and treat Ryan with respect. This is a hard job but I feel the board needs new blood and Ryan is more than qualified. So thank you for your time and wish us well on our trip. See you guys in March at the Civil War where Ryan will give controll of the site back to Barb and I

More folks should take life by the b*lls and enjoy it, instead of just working their lives away!!!
Stay away from Letterville other than posting pics and trip reports.
Have a great time and I hope that Doug doesn't worry about you mis-spelling his last name as much as CJ does!!!! LOL

I am so sorry if any of you beleaved me. This was just a joke. Steve left the computer while we were hanging around in mazeppa. I asked Barb if I could mess around and she gave me the OK. I do think they need a vacaton and stoped when I felt some of you beleaved me. I am realy sorry if this made you mad but it was all in fun.

I had the pleasure of watching this happen. Ryan is such a fireball! I kept hissing at him "Steve is gonna kill you!" He said he couldn't believe what a chicken I am in person, and that he had Barb's OK. (And he said he thought I would be taller!) It was great watching him "edit" posts. Especially Kissy's & Mark's. Too funny. And then the people believing it & wishing Steve & Barb a safe trip, etc. And to see Steve & Barb chuckle over this. How refreshing. Things are going to rock at Dixie. Donald is a sweetie too. You can cut their accents with a knife. They are great to listen to and infectious. Stevo was even saying...."Mayunnn ("man!")eh!" Back to COROPLAST here. In the well planned attention to unforseen contingincies typical of the criminal mind, Ryan actually sent me a tactful IM minutes before this topic posted.
I did believe it was Steve, but was a little taken back how quick he went from "we decided to come to Hawaii" to the real point of... "when is a good time for us to stay with you?"
I must confess I sent back a link to a bed & breakfast... but in my defense, I noted that my cottage is only 500 sq. ft. & the B&B was the same one my family stayed in during my wedding. Oh yeah, & Steve... the offer to show you & Barb around the island still stands. (not sure I would risk the fasion consequences of getting too close to any beaches though )
Once I saw the post though, I knew it was a spoof, but assumed Steve was behind it... had to log onto chat for a rare appearance to look for clues. I hung out in an empty room for a few minutes, & sure enough "Steve" showed up & shed some light on the mystery.

When I first saw it ... knowing they were both at the meet ... I had it figured out quickly. Cracked me up picturing Ryan being devious, split my sides thinking of Doug's reaction.
Came back later and saw "Steve's" edits ... laughed so hard I spewed milk through my nose ... and I wasn't drinking any at the time hahahaha

I thought it was hilarious. I pulled a muscle in my side laughing so hard at the thought of Doug Allan getting that IM before the post. I figured that would freak you out a little Doug. Many of the BB regulars at the meet had a laugh over this prank. I hope noone was upset. This is another reason to attend meets. You never know what you and be a part of. Never know what might happen at the Civil War when Ryan is on his home turf. Come and find out!!
