It seems like I'm a little lonely in the mornings, since I'm more than likely up before any of you are even stirring.. did you know that the sun rises on my shop first in North America? and that we are a Half Hour ahead of everyone else

I'd LOVE to see Colorado, one of my dreams is to visit Colorado, then see the Grand Canyon, drive route 66 through the desert on to California, and then Golf at Pebble Beach.

Not much left of "old 66" Bits and pieces is all. some parts are still being used by local though. Think we missed the cut this year at Pebble, guess we'll have to watch it on the tv.

I was up a bit earlier than usual this morning, and as I happened to have my camera in hand as I got into the car this morning. I couldn't resist taking a picture of the pastel sunrise with the full moon still fully visible. I've emailed it to you Neil - would you post it for me?
We're only 1/2 hour behind you in the sunrise department, and I know what you mean. You can't conduct business anywhere in North America until everyone else gets out of bed!

Judging from the pictures you posted, if I were the sun I too would choose to shine my light on your part of this great continent first. If for no other reason but to say good morning to myself!

Yeah, I should get up early more often. That's actually my "front yard". In the summer our boat would be there, but at this time of year it's a skating rink. We aren't here by accident...we're originally from Southern Ontario, but a vacation to this area 14 years ago hooked us for good. We moved immediately and haven't regretted it for a minute.
