My PhotoShop 7 finally arrived today and I am itching to install. Goodbye PS3!
To get a jump start I am hosting a David Butler Photoshop Workshop:
The dates have just been set for the Minnesota Workshop: April 30, May 1 & 2, 2004!
It will take place in historic downtown Anoka, a slick 45 minute commute from the airport, north of Minneapolis, but still within the "7 county Metro" of the twin cities.
Susie and I will work out the location and lodging detai ls very soon. We can only handle about 12 students in the space I have reserved, and I already received several inquiries before the dates were set. So get your reservations in right away!

Hi Barb.... Anoka? That's in one of Lavyrle Spencer's books. I know it's OT, but maybe this'll bump up yer post. She's my favorite romance novel author, and yes, I am a bodice-ripper fan. Cheaper than dating & a book can never break your heart. I hope your workshop is a great success. Love-JILL

Hey Jill... you know why Anoka is mentioned in one of her books? I believe she is from MN. I used to work at Viking Music in Plymouth, MN. The owner, Tomm Peets, was friends withe her & her husband and I met them one night. Nice lady.
Anyone that has a chance to go to MN... GO!!! Anoka is a really cool little town. Halloween capital, too - marched with my sheltie, Romeo, in our dog training school's drill team unit, in the Anoka Halloween parade 5 years in a row. Got some fun stories about the costumes the dogs would wear!!

For now the workshop is scheduled for the conference room at the Chamber of Commerce in Beautiful downtown Anoka. But we'll probably have some downtime at the shop/house too. More info will come soon. Talked to Susie Butler last week and got all the scoop about deposits etc. If we go over 10 or 12 attendees, we'll move the workshop to another location. We should know pretty quick.

Hello! I forgot to ask... My daughter Amanda,(16) who has come to a few meets with us over the last few years, was wondering, if Mike Chamberlin reads this or anyone who knows him, if he and his kids were going to come to the Anoka meet in Apr-May. Just checking! Maris (but speaking for Amanda) Schilling
