I saw an ad in Sign Craft (maybe it was the Rayco ad?) for a 1-shot product that's a 2-part clear, and is supposed to be graffiti resistant. I haven't seen any promotion from 1-shot about this. Does anybody have any experience with the stuff, and can you recommend it? Is it OK for roller application? (I looked at the 1-shot website, and it doesn't even mention the product...)

I had the chance to see the graffittiproof clear in action this summer at the Panel Picnic. Frank Manning brought some in unlabelled cans and we tried it out on some small panels.
It is a 2 part clearcoat, but not like you may think. Unlike automotive clear, it's is designed to go on heavily and was designed for wall murals where grafitti and vandalism are a concern. It has an almost "slick" feel to it, almost like a lubricant, but is dry to the touch.
We tried to make it fail with a few nasty chemicals. All of them washed right off.
Hope this helps... Rapid

I'm curious myself and anxious to try the product, so I'm e-mailing this page to some 1 Shot folks. Maybe we can get some answers, I didn't see the ad. I'll look again.

I would be interested myself in this product. Also how much it costs?

I saw the product at the Tomahawk meet. Frank Manning said is was a product very similar to Tedlar, the coating on SignGold. It's so similar, he said its the one thing that will stick to Tedlar. I'm also anxiously awaiting its arrival as a topcoat for the epoxy we use on HDU.

Thanks Barb for bringing this post to my attention. The new Anti-Graffiti coatings are available to any 1 Shot / Chromatic dealer that wants to order them. I know companies like: Rayco, N.Glantz, Montroy, & Mclogan stock them. The original 1Shot website is being slowly phased into the Spraylat.com site so, thus the new clears are not there; but for anybody that wants information on the Anti-Graffiti clears, I put a couple of PDF files on the web.
