BURRRR!!! Hello everyone. Record low temps here in Maine this week. Today the high was 8, with the wind chill it felt like -25! Tomorrow me and my help have a full day outside with two install's, today is supposed to be the warmer then tomorrow! Luckily one is at a restaurant, so we can grab a few hundred coffee's to help keep warm. On the down side, the other is at a marina, right on the lake. Okay,I'm outta here, I'm on my way to L.L. Bean for some nice warm clothes!

So I probably shouldn't be a bitch and tell you that it is 70º on the nose here today and crystal blue skies.
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Devin, you can give me a hard time when it is back to 123º here this summer.

Evergreen trees have been cracking from the expanding sap in them tonight here in the hills. Sounds like gunshots.....and it ain't even tree season yet.
Time to book a flight south. Rapid

Let me start this by telling you all that I am a dumb ass. Today on my install I was on my ladder, sign in one hand, other on the ladder. I placed my drill & screws on the lip of the sign cabinet underneath. I grabbed a screw, and the gun, then decided to keep a few screws in my mouth for easy access. Please keep in mind its 3 degrees, who knows what with the wind chill. Well, the screws stuck to my tounge, after a swift tug, they came off! Pretty stupid thing to do, though I did think it was funny! I think its time Rapid & I go visit some sign shops in the South!!! Have a great day, hopefully warmer than mine!

I worked @ the fire department last night. We had a call about 2AM, pump on the engine froze in record time, we did not stay out a second longer that we needed to! We prayed for a quiet night...thankfully no fires. We just do not earn enough to fight a fire in weather like this!!

Phil Devin was talking about degrees Fahrenheit. Your minus 20 is our 5 degrees. Tonight it is suppose to go down to minus 20 fahreheit here, and 40 miles north of here minus 25 to minus 30 Fahrenheit.
