Well, all best intentions get misled by reality ...again. I'm not gonna make it to the meet. I'll be in Florida (part business/part pleasure), and won't even be back in New York until February 7th.
And I was so looking forward to leaving our below zero temperatures and half-a-foot-a-day snowfalls to come to...uh...Minnesota?!
Fate, why do you taunt me so?
SignGold will be sending some goodies your way though.
I'm sure it's gonna be a great time. Everyone enjoy, and travel safely.

Mikey- Do you have the Sheriff payed off, this time We won't be shooting water ballons at the cops. This time I'm bringing the cannon, no not the human cannon but the pirate cannon. It really makes a boom at thirty below. The barrel is just the right size for a bottle of createx. Half a dixie cup of powder a bottle of createx and you get a big boom, smoke, and pretty colors. A real Sheriff caller. Hope you guys get some snow, we just got a bunch up here. Isn't it funny to here the folks out East freak out about Zero degree weather, thats nothin, it was 35 below here last nite. I'll keep the powder dry and bring the smoked fish and Moose jerky.

Mike, Will there be anyone showing how to screenprint. I have a customer thatraces Alfa Romeos and needs small number of things screenprinted. He can't find anyone around that will make them just like the ones on the cars when they were new. He is willing to pay the bucks to have them done as close to identical. Its worth me to learn to print. 6-8 decals or metal plates.
I have everything to screenprint on a small scale. I just don't know how to do it.
Laura ps Still waiting on a few things before I'll know if I can come for sure.

thank you for your imput Laura. At this time we have silk screening of the glass for the Gold Leaf windows.. There may be an experienced silk screener in the crowd that may be able to help you, but from what I have seen in the industry, alot of jobs like this are now done on the Edge, and various Digital printers.
However, we will have an expert in the field of Cannon's who will give live demostrations thruout the meet with pretty colors and loud bangs. I realize the call for cannon blasting is not real heavy at the moment but in case the need arises, it's nice to know that "The Colonel" is just a phone call away for sub-contracting the CANNON.
Which brings me to this up-date....
New to the Letterhead Scene but not new to Minnesotan's will be a first ever "LETTERHEAD PENALTY BOX"
Yup...we'll have referee wondering would will call various infractions such as....leaving a brush to get hard in paint. Spotting too much Helvetica in a portfolio. Advising someone that you would rather "Do it in Vynull". Boring someone to death on how you clicked, deleted and to vector file and EPS to JPEG Blah blah BLAH. Blurting out randomly..."SAY IT!--TAKE IT BACK!" Telling Griz that he is "Handsome." asking .."If i Frog Juice a metal pole FIRST, will my toungue still stick to it?" Well, you get the idea....Stay on your toes because you may end up with a game misconduct, or suspended for the next 3 Letterhead Meets! We don't want any letteringbench clearing brawls.
Offical Winter Muster Temperature at 6:36 AM is.............-5 below zero.
We need snow bad , so Cisco, on your way thru Tahoe, can you bring some...Pat and Ruth are bringing a coupla jars from Canada...every little bit helps!
Enjoy your day people!

Mike, Is Michigan snow ok? We have more than enough right now and it snowedx again last night.
My customer is anal about screen printed material. I have been working with his father because he was either in Puerto Rico, Florida, etc with the car. The son races it all over this side of the hemispere. The father brought in some decals that needed to be replaced so I printed them on my Roland Pc-60 and than laminated the ones that will be on the side of the gas tank. The son saw it and new right away that it was four color process vs screenprinting one color that was used to get that specific color that they needed for the color of the decal. It wasn't good enough. Even the process has to be the same for these antiques cars. Some of them will be worth $1,000.000. when they are all done.

Mike, I'll load up the pickup truck with snow for ya. We have plenty. I do hope it warms up a tad for the Muster though. We had -15 degrees this morning with -30 wind chill. I had to put the short sleeves away and break out a sweat shirt.
Mike Contreras, Hey wave if you go through Crystal Falls on your way. Better yet we should caravan on down together. I'm not sure if coming my way is longer for you.
Any Wisconsin people want to hook up to make a caravan, let me know. I'll be going through Rhinlander, Wausau, & Chippewa Falls.

Well brother Mike, with all the hoopla of Buffalo steaks, Moose jerky, beautiful babes at Ore's and my own corner next to the stove! I got a "nonstop flight" from L.A.X. so I won't be able to pick up any snow in Tahoe, do you have any white paint, I'll paint you some. I'll be sending a couple of things, from my Cuban signage exhibition to add to your collection, next to that bad ass gas pump and your neat cool signs you have there, I used to have an gas pump, not quite as nice as that one. well amigo, got my thermols, sweats shirts, I have some insulated gloves around here somewhere, now just need one of them insulated jackets, I saw the Ice Palace (sp) they are having at St Paul-Minneapolis on TV this morning, So I know it's going to be cold, but if 2,000,000 people are going to see it, I guess that cold weather is not a big factor, hey I ain't scared of a little frost...yeah right!!! "who you going to call...ghost, I mean cold busters!" see you soon!!!

Pat and Ruth Welter in Unity Sask, Canada....
this is for you......
Pat promised Ruth some winter that he'd take her down south where it's warm and they will lounge by the beach.... He's going to do it....They will be HERE in Mazeppa! (It's south, it's warmer than Unity!)
Nice work Pat! (W.D's is having a beach party this weekend!)
One morning there at the farm house in Unity, Pat and Ruth were in the kitchen and Pat started Sobbing hysterically...Ruth said, " PAT! Honey, what's the matter?"
Pat looked up thru his tears and said, "Ruth, remember when I was 18 and you were 15 and we were making love in the back seat of that old Buick way back when?" Rruth replied."yeah"
Pat then said.."And remember when your Dad caught us and he pointed that shotgun at me and said.."You will marry my daughter or go to Prison!, remember that?"
Ruth said."Yes, why?"
Pat said..."Today's the day I would have gotten out."
Thank you very much! you are a great audience!
