I'll be flying in Weds. and staying till Sun. morning. This is a big adventure for me...the first time ever in that part of the country, except for boot camp at Great Lakes, but that don't count. I'm looking forward to meeting you Mike. Now I have to figure out how much of my kit box is going to be "terrorist" materials, when I go to to board a plane with such dangerous stuff as brush handles and mahl sticks. I don't think my regular box would pass inspection.......

Don't think we will be able to make it Mike. Long story...don't want to go into it now. Wish we could be there but we will be thinking of all of you. Don't forget to invite people to add the name of the past letterheads to the memorial banner and pass it on to the next meet. Thanks! Lauri Goretski started the idea and we sent the banner with you from Tomahawk, remember? Have a good time! Toast one for us!

I got chewed out by my wife about this one Sunday afternoon. I did five meets last year, so I guess she has a right to fuss a little. I told her that I was having to miss a great one this weekend in PA. I guess she is over it now. I will be coming in with Ryan and Artie. Don't hold anything those two do against me though Mike. Let the good people of Mazeppa be warned ahead of time.

Just bought the plane tickets online! Here's something I found out to do about that. Go to the sites like Travelocity or Expedia and do your search, see the prices, write down the flight numbers... but before you buy, check out the airline's own site (I saved a couple bucks!)
I called my Mom & Dad, and asked for the car keys already!
This will be SO awesome!! Can't wait to see everyone.
Oh... and I have my flannel lined LL Bean jeans all ready to go!

Started a panel already - should have it finished in time.
The hardest part has been gathering warm clothes for the little one...not too many very cold days down here south of the South...but our friends are coming through and we should be in good shape in three weeks or so...

Could I get a flyer...so I can send you some green? Where is everyone staying? I may have to sleep in the truck if your region gets booked up.

I'm so excited reading this post. Dana, your comment about "flannel lined jeans" was a wake up call -- I'm here in hot sunny 75 degrees today. It's hard to think of cold clothes, I'll go out warm clothes shopping this weekend. Mike, the workshops you have metioned sound so interesting -even the retirment one. About the venison - will there be other stuff to eat for those people who cringe at the thought of eating Bambi's mother?

Mike's older bro here. Was down at the living museum (Mike's shop) last night helping him get things ready. Still a bunch to do, but it'll be ready & hoppin for everyone. Those who were there at the first muster, will be amazed what his shop looks like now. It's never the same. I love to stop in to see him & just stand & look & look & look at all the neat stuff he has & has done. What a treat. Gonna be a hoot!!!!
