Some temporary bad news concerning HeadTV.

Our ability to broadcast live video has been due to one person's generousity. Vern Keller is a longtime signmaker from Oregon. In addition to his sign business at http://www.signworld.com, Vern operated a video server.

For a number of reasons, Vern has decided to shutdown that server. All of us who have had so much fun via HeadTV over the years owe a debt of graditude to Vern Keller. I hope we get an opportunity to repay this debt someday. Thanks Vern.

The search for a new video server and video program is now on. There may be an opportunity here to find a program or service that will allow text and voice chat, as well as HeadTV. We're looking for ideas and recommemdations.

Well, that's a bummer but Thanks Vern!
Due to some glitch with AOL, I've never been able to get on Head Tv, maybe the new set-up will allow that.

Good luck.

Doesn't Windows have video conferencing capability built into it and wouldn't that work?

I've never seen Head TV. I've been told by several heads that if my firewall is enabled it won't work. There's no way that I'm going to disable my firewall. Is there a solution to this?

Laura...Microsoft had a program called Netmeeting that had possibilities. There is also MSN Messenger, but you always get the ads. There was an ad on tv afew weeks ago about a new videoconferencing program from MS, but I can't find it on their website.

Our former HeadTV program worked fine with firewalls turned on Terry. Misinformation is a real problem when it comes to computer stuff.

One already has a voice Server and I would be willing try a video server. My newest prodject has be a web search engine called wzzup. If any one would like to add their web sites to it let me know and I'll ad it to the database for free.
