On this job the company has the sign already built out of MDO and prepped. All they want is for me to apply vinyl lettering. I am using Oracal 851 Gold Metallic and the rest is Oracal 751. Their sign measures 130.25 inches wide by 61.75 inches tall. I'll be hand painting the black and gold borders(inlines). I've looked in the SignCraft pricing guide but couldn't find anything for this situation. Any ideas as far as what I should charge? Thanks. Sign

Hiya Larry,
That's a big sign! But something isn't adding up. where did they get the 61+" MDO? And, according to what I'm measuring, the sign is less than 8' wide.
Anyway, when all else fails, use materials + labor + overhead + profit.
Assuming the dimensions from the design you posted, you'll probably have about 4-6 hours to paint the border, cut, weed, tape and apply the graphics. Your material costs may be $100 and you're on your own when it comes to overhead and profit.
If I was to submit an estimate, I would be somewhere in the $1000 range - if the client delivered and picked up the sign.
Havin' fun,
Checkers

Thanks Brian - They built the sign with more than one sheet of MDO, so it's not one whole piece. It measures 10.85' x 5.15'.And the sign is already standing. I have to go out there and apply it to the standing sign. Thanks again Brian I appreciate it. Larry

Larry, is it too late to flip those little scrolls, so they radiate outwards from the centre of the sign, instead of starting outside and tapering inwards?
