How much to charge for simple copy - Ballard Bonding Co. - 36 inch caps, using reflex blue 1-Shot, 8 feet off ground, so I only need a step stool to reach, on painted white brick wall. Wall is already painted white. Also to paint a blue stripe 12 feet off the ground, height being 4 bricks tall, around entire building - approximately 320 linear feet. Help - Carl P.S. Using Cooper Black typeface- Copy to be approx. 30 feet long.

i would say about $1530.00, not knowing if the brick is smooth or rough. would make a big time difference. 1530 is an average.

for the stripe i would rent a scissor lift if feasible. lot of ifs in this job. hard to quote a real price. my base is 2.5 days @ $65 hour.

Thanks John, by the way the brick is rough. customer has since changed the design to only 8 feet long and deleted the word "company". I quoted $925.00 for Ballard Bonding 8x5 feet painted once on the wall, and one aluminum sign with same copy, same size in vinyl. No stripe painting.

Fair price??? Please reply, Carl

I find that that pricing guide works fairly accurately for wall signs. A large letter is pretty easy to paint: do theouline with a chiseled bristle brush, then fill in with a roller. I do a lot of wall signs. Yours seems pretty easy. Use the pricing guide.
