Roland DGA Corp. has introduced two new media products for its award-winning, wide-format eco-solvent inkjet printers and printer/cutters: Glossy Backlit Film (ESM-GBF) and Matte Backlit Film (ESM-MBF).

"Glossy and Matte Backlit Films are premium 8-mil products with great dimensional stability," said Fernando Catania, product manager for Roland. “These products are designed to produce vivid, high-density backlit images with a Dmax rating of 2.2.”

“The majority of our backlit work is for casinos here in Oklahoma, and we really hit the jackpot with Roland’s glossy and matte backlit material,” said Lisa Mhoon of Firelake Designs based in Shawnee, Okla. "It works like a million bucks with our Roland VersaCAMM printers and ECO-SOL MAX inks. Thanks, Roland for making us look good to our customers!"

Roland Glossy and Matte Backlit Films are productive solutions that print and dry quickly. To answer today’s demand for capable backlit displays, the new Glossy and Matte Backlit Films are effective whether the lightbox is on or off. Like the rest of Roland’s media line, Glossy and Matte Backlit Films are part of a complete digital printing solution, tested and profiled for optimum performance.

Roland backlit films are available throughout North and South America (except Brazil) and can be ordered in 100-foot roll lengths and 54 or 60-inch widths. For more information or to purchase, visit the Roland DGA online store at www.rolanddgastore.com/film or contact your local authorized Roland dealer

Hi Barb,

Could you let me know if either of these products (ESM-GBF & ESM MBF) have adhesive on the back? The Roland website doesn't specifiy.

Kind regards,

Lindsey
