IRVINE, CA, December 19, 2006 – In a move to further strengthen the company’s leadership position following record growth, Roland DGA Corporation today announced an expansion of its executive management team.
Brian McLeod has been named vice president of corporate marketing, responsible for Roland DGA marketing in North and South America (excluding Brazil). Additionally, McLeod will assist the company’s global marketing initiatives in coordination with Roland joint ventures and affiliates around the world. McLeod has been with Roland DGA for the past 10 years and has held numerous sales and marketing management positions. Most recently he served as managing director for the company’s Color Products Division. McLeod holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pepperdine University.
In January 2007, Rick Scrimger will join Roland DGA Corp. as vice president and general manager for the Color Products Division, responsible for sales, distribution and product management for the company’s inkjet line. Scrimger’s background includes senior sales and marketing management experience with the Graphic Intelligence Agency/GretagMacbeth/Xrite as well as more than 10 years of sales, product management and technical support experience with Roland. A frequent speaker and panelist at industry conferences nationwide, Scrimger holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Pitzer College and an MBA from the UCI Graduate School of Management.
Joe Dawson has been promoted to the position of director of sales for the Color Products Division. Dawson has more than 15 years of senior-level sales experience and has served in both sales and product management roles for Roland since joining the company in 2005. In his new position, Dawson will be responsible for nationwide sales of Roland wide-format inkjet printers. Dawson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Arizona State University.
Mike Pender has been named regional sales manager for the company’s newly created Great Lakes region. Pender has been with Roland DGA for 13 years in both sales and sales management roles. Most recently he served as director of sales for the Color Products Division. Pender will manage the new region from his office in Michigan.
