I've been playing around more and more with CorelDraw. For anyone interested, here is one more vehicle vector.

Thanks guys...There are a couple of things I need to "touch up", but overall I am happy.

I love having the time to just play around and experiment with a program that I used to think I knew well while earning an income with it.

I'm currently approaching age 72...I can't wait to see what I will have learned about CorelDraw when I hit 80!!!! [Rolling On The Floor]

Very nice. Isn't it ahame though that you would have been sacrificing income to live off of if you had been working on that before you were retired?

Actually Dave...Since I was just cutting vinyl, I only needed to know the basics of CorelDraw.

Digital printing as a long lasting product was just evolving when I quit, so learning the intricacies of "vector art" wasn't needed.

I did do some airbrushing effects on vinyl jobs back then and I did have a basic knowledge of how to "create" the simple effects in CorelDraw for presentation purposes.

As far as sacrificing income is concerned...Naw...The projects that were "fun" were great, like individual boat lettering, but the jobs that really generated income were the "cut em/stick em" fleet graphics jobs for
faithful clients. That was the day to day work that really paid the bills and allowed for investment in retirement accounts.

Thanks Rusty...I also don't know how you create the beautiful art you do. They are two totally different types of work.
