I carved this token of appreciation for a church in Louisiana whose members prayed for me and helped me out during a recent cancer surgery.
I don't even know anyone from Louisiana. They were doing this for a complete stranger.
The wood is 400+ years old - having been harvested by my son, my brothers and I from a Maine barn built in 1802, and much of it's timber having been re-purposed from an earlier structure.

Very nice, I'm sure they will be pleased that their efforts were recognized. I hope everything went Okay.

May I guess? Heaven to Earth, Earth to Cross, Cross to the Grave, Grave to the Sky and Return.

Thanks for the kind words!
Bob is right. The symbols are called The King's Witness and mean "He came. He died on the cross. Rose from the grave. Went to heaven. Is coming back"
And yes Kelly, things seem to be going well. It's been an interesting year. :^D

A hand carved gift of quality is the best way to say thanks.
