We have done several signs as of late with this basic roof design..this one i tried to fashion to be like the door entry taking some of the architecture to the sign post. Also they wanted hammered copper roof but choked with the price. I found a paint at Lowes in a rattle can that came as close to hammered copper as i could find...kind of like the way it turned out. the carved pieces on the post were HDU and all the raised letters and Panel are all Painted PVC the Main Panels are also Painted MDO.

Looks great Chris, nice job. Can't sell them signs around here like that. The roof has to be twice that size to take the snow load.

Nice work there, Chris. I like the architectural tie-ins. Little things mean a lot.

A great combinations of elements...definitly a distinctive sign for a grand old house and a memorable one for those who drive by.
