Picked up this carpenters box the other day off of craigslist and had to add my name to it. It still needs something though... i would like to gild it bit not sure how without ruining the nice patina.

The really cool thing about it, there's a rail road shipping sticker on the back from 1947!

Gilding shouldn't hurt the patina.

Paint the letters/design with yellow enamel, when dry apply size and then leaf ... outline where needed.

Post pics when finished!

Didn't get a chance to put any paint on it but did get it put back together and a good amount of "stuff" put in it.

I should have more than enough room for everything I have now and everything I want to get. The fold down front gives me sort of a work bench when I don't have one, like when working in dirt back yards. Problem is, this big guy is HEAVY. Good thing it has 4 new casters under it.
