Thanks for the nice comments. I don't feel much but tired right now. A huge thanks to Pat and Ruth Welter and Graham and Barb Parsons for taking a day to come visit and help. It was the infusion I needed to get by that hump and gave me the energy to make the last couple of days of painting. Those pipes were really twisting my mind. A special thanks to my daughter Jess for all her help as well. Jess painted the oil rig panel as well as helping with a couple of others. The drilling console one was painted horizontally, Jill. I didn't get to see it connected or vertical until it was installed. It was hard to find places to paint all of them! Thanks Rick! I would have loved to have seen you. There were a few changes I wanted to make that I never got to, but they likely bother me more than any one else.... well except for the velvet coveralls.... Really fabulous, Kelly! What did you paint them on, that you could get them in sections on some of the larger panels? I suppose you mentioned this before on another post...but what is the overall dimension of the wall? Hard to tell looking at it. And where does it sit in relation to the rest of the business? Where is the viewer when looking at this? Do you have any distance shots?Inquiring minds want to know. It really looks great.

Thanks everyone. Judy, the panels are Omega Bond, Dibond and a couple of other aluminum composites. They were primed with BM Fresh Start and painted with BM Aura paints - which I loved! The building is 125' x 18' and the mural I believe covers about 92 feet of the wall. The Main Entrance to the building is around the left corner, but the mural faces the main Industrial Drive. The pictures I took were from across that road. If you look again at the overall picture you can see a 6 foot fence on the right as well as a door on the left. That should give you an indication of scale. The business sign is to the left of the mural. I was approached about the possibility of a couple of others when there, so we'll see if that goes anywhere. I really would like to do more murals, I kind of got out of that when I opened the sign shop and I miss the painting. Thanks Rusty, I'm never overwhelmed by the scale - at least not until I land the project.
Actually this would have been a very enjoyable project had I not broken two ribs just going into it. It really slowed me down and I had to push very hard to make the deadline. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable project that I really hope will lead to more.
