It's blue spruce mdo. Naw.... Just painted a light blue background then masked off strips and painted a coat with a bit of black added for contrast.Then worked it with a rocker type grain tool.Fun stuff!(The crescent is HDU gilded with variegated leaf, I airbrushed the edges to blend with the copy color)
